As we steadily transform into a cozy winter lull that includes a whole lotta stretchy pants and comfort foods, we are left longing for a reason to get outdoors again. 1. Talkeetna Roadhouse – Talkeetna
The small town of Talkeetna boasts lots of memorable things. The views are incredible, the activities are endless, the shops are quirky and the people are just out-of-this-world friendly and hospitable. 3. F Street Station – Anchorage
After a long drive and lots of delicious food for breakfast and lunch, keep things light at the F Street Station and enjoy fresh oysters with plentiful drinks from the lounge. 8. St. Elias Brewing Company – Soldotna
After a hearty breakfast and a beautiful drive down to The Kenai, Alaska's Playground, stop at this convenient brewery located right off the the Sterling Highway when you pull into town. 9. Wasabi’s Bistro – Homer
