As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Traveling up the Richardson Highway is a beautiful thing to do, especially in autumn. Taking in the colors changing on the mountains, and the wild animals getting ready for winter can be a stunning trip! Take a break in Delta Junction at the Diamond Willow Inn, where you can cozy up in your very own log cabin!
Driving the Richardson Highway is a gorgeous experience.
Whether you're headed from Valdez to Fairbanks or the other way around, Delta Junction is the perfect place to stop and cozy up for a couple of days. Diamond Willow Inn has the perfect accommodations for you on your trip!
These cabins aren't your old homesteader cabins of Alaska from years ago.
Feel free to cozy up in their living rooms with oversized armchairs and big, picture windows. The ambiance is perfect for those who want to get away from it all, even though they still offer high speed internet for those who need to stay connected!
Take advantage of amenities like a washer and dryer, and full sized refrigerators, a microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker! The living rooms have cable television and even DVD players so you can relax and rest.
The downstairs levels have the main dining area, while the loft has two queen beds divided by a privacy wall. There is even a viewing deck with gorgeous views off of the second story!
The log cabins are on larger property that has a large lodge and inn.
The lodge can sleep a family of 5 or 6 people, and the inn has many rooms for those who don't need a larger space! The rooms have a kitchenette for those who still need some light amenities!
The inn is located very close to the center of Delta Junction.
In fact, only a couple minutes drive from shopping and all of the amenities the small town offers! The best part is, this fantastic place is open year round for you to stay in!
