This little one-bedroom cottage was built in the 1950s and originally served as Palmer’s Public Library until 1968. It was moved to Talkeetna on the Alaska Railroad and was initially used as a homesteader’s cabin.
This fascinating cottage still has the original giant handcrafted window, now situated in what is the living room.
The window offers a stunning view into the forest surrounding the property. This beautiful place has been renovated and upgraded into a charming space that you can now rent on Airbnb!

The cottage is now equipped with all the amenities you would need on a trip away to enjoy the great Alaskan outdoors.
