There’s a cozy little studio located in one of Juneau’s most historic buildings right downtown.
Built in 1892, the building has seen over a hundred years of the history of the area. It’s the bottom unit of a duplex, built is 20 steps up above the street, with full-sized windows and plenty of sunlight.
The whole space blends vintage with modern, and everything is bright and fresh.
There are warm flannel sheets, tons of squishy pillows, and a dark curtain to block out unwanted sunlight. There is no better place in Alaska to bed down for the night!
The place even comes with a washer and dryer, in case you get caught out in the rain during your adventures. It’s a wonderful base camp for two people.
There’s a yard outside, and even though the place is just a block of the Capitol building and plenty of downtown attractions, it’s peaceful.
There’s street parking close to the house if you want to rent a car, but because of the fabulous location, many people choose to just walk around the area. It's even close to many great hiking trails.
