The Best All Day Breakfast Can Be Found In The Heart Of Alaska's Arctic Circle
It may be a long trip up the Dalton Highway, but Coldfoot Camp offers some incredible all-day breakfast at their famous Trucker’s Cafe. Traveling the ice road in the winter isn’t for the faint of heart, but you can be guaranteed a hot, delicious breakfast from the early hours of the morning until midnight every day!

This haven is located on the Dalton Highway, and is a huge draw for the many truckers that pass through on the way to Prudhoe Bay. They keep fantastic hours to ensure everyone is fed, as this is the only spot for 200 miles open and available.

There's plenty of comfortable seating and the all-day breakfast menu is served from 5:00 a.m. through 12:00 a.m. every single day! You can also order everything else off their menu, including hearty sandwiches, burgers, baskets, and more, all day long!

There's also biscuits and gravy, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, two types of breakfast sandwiches, and hearty oatmeal. There's even a "Trucker's Favorite," that combines biscuits and gravy, eggs, and your choice of hash browns or home fries.

You can order cottage cheese, hamburger steak, canned fruit, or even two eggs on the side. They also have an impressive toast selection, especially for being located so far away from the nearest grocery store. You can find white, wheat, rye, Texas toast, English muffins, or the crowd favorite: home made potato buns.

They actually bake a number of items right there in the cafe. Expect delicious bread items including their homemade potato buns, and hand formed hamburger patties instead of frozen.

They even offer specials occasionally during the winter, so make sure to ask the host if there are anything available that day. They also provide sack lunches if you're only passing through and don't have time to stop. Filled with a sandwich, chips, drinks, and a cookie, this will keep you going through the Arctic Circle.

Their kitchen is open from 5:00 a.m. in the morning all the way though 12:00 a.m. But if you happen to arrive in those dawn hours before they officially open, they still offer snacks for you to purchase to tide you over until breakfast!
