If you’re looking for a beautiful autumn hike, head on out to Cascade Lake Trail in Alaska. This stunning trail, located in Denali State Park, is the perfect place to get out and breathe in the fresh air. With stunning views of Denali on clear days, this hike should be on the top of your bucket list!
If you want to get out and watch the colors change right before your eyes, head to Denali State Park.
If you have a hankering to get out and enjoy the views, this hike will deliver. With lake and mountain vistas, and plenty of interesting features to the hike, it moves quickly even though it’s 8.4 miles total.

You’ll cross boardwalks and bridges, and hike through the forest.
You’ll be in the backcountry, so be sure to be aware of the animals around you. Pack everything out that you brought with you -- and keep Alaska’s wildlife wild!
The park does charge a $5 daily parking fee; however, if you’re a local, think about purchasing the $60 annual pass instead. It might just be worth it!
