If you’re headed out to the tiny town of Valdez on Prince William Sound, you’ll be driving through the gorgeous Keystone Canyon.
That canyon is filled with waterfalls beautiful enough to stop and photograph. But there’s one waterfall that’s guaranteed to take your breath away: Bridal Veil Falls.
Bridal Veil Falls is a towering waterfall, standing at six hundred feet high.
It’s been called the Crowned Jewel of Keystone Canyon, and it’s no surprise why. This stunning waterfall spills out multiple tiers over the canyon walls until hitting the ground.

The falls attract people from all over the world who come to see its impressive presence.
They’re only 18 miles from Valdez, so if you’ve arrived by air or boat, it’s not a far trip to see them. It’s such a popular spot, you’ll find plenty of parking in the large parking lot nearby.
Lowe River is an attraction unto itself, and these cold, glacial waters wind its way through Keystone Canyon, flowing right alongside the Richardson Highway.
Keystone Canyon is home to many waterfalls, including nearby Horsetail Falls.
Both waterfalls are some of the main attractions in a place that’s filled with beauty. If you’re visiting the area, be sure to explore the many hikes and nooks and crannies of this breathtaking area.
This waterfall is also popular in the winter for ice climbing.
It’s most famous for the wonderful ice climbing route available for use in the winter time. In fact, there’s an ice climbing festival each February that climbs this spectacular waterfall.
Whether you want to see this waterfall in its liquid or ice form, we promise it’s worth the trip.
