This fun little restaurant is inside a Victorian Lounge in the Hotel Seward.
The attention to detail is stunning! You'll find gorgeous leather seating and strong, dark woods. The wallpaper is fresh but the patterns are period-perfect.
Relax on large, sumptuous leather couches and admire the stained glass accent pieces.
Enjoy five different types of omelets, or fabulous biscuits and gravy. They also have sweet items to balance the savory, with Belgian Waffles, French toast, and pancakes rounding out the menu.
You can enjoy a scrambled egg dish with reindeer sausage, peppers, onions, and your choice of cheese. This Alaskan twist on a delicious scramble is another highly requested item!
They don't just serve breakfast, they are open for dinner, too.
They even have speciality rooms you can reserve for your dining pleasure. It's lovely to eat in one of their specialty rooms while enjoying their Alaskan seafood dishes like Plancha Seared Scallops, or Parmesan Crusted Halibut Cheeks. The Pan Seared Sockeye Salmon looks delectable!
Ms. Gene's Place is actually named after the original owner of the hotel, Ms. Gene. We think she'd approve of the incredible food!
