If you’re looking for the most delicious burger in Alaska, look no further than the Silvertip Grill in Girdwood. This tiny town is a foodie powerhouse, with fantastic and award-winning dishes at almost every stop. The Silvertip Grill does one of the most casual, delicious burgers you’ll come across in our huge state!
Please note, Silvertip Grill has permanently closed.
Girdwood has a great small restaurant called the Silvertip Grill. Located right downtown, it’s perfect walking distance from the Ski Inn, or a short car or bike ride from Alyeska Resort.
There are five different types of burgers, each more delicious and unique than the last. Choose from a classic Cheeseburger, Bacon & Bleu, Island Burger, Cowboy Burger, or the Rueburger.

The sides are large portions of some of your favorite items!
You can adorn your plate with curly fries, potato salad, or garden salad. Or, go big and upsize to fried pickles, portobello fries, or even cheese curds!
They open at 10:00 a.m. during the week, and 9:00 a.m. on weekends. Perfect timing so you can go in and grab a delicious Chicken Fried Steak or breakfast sandwich!
They have a great selection of beer on draft, including local Alaskan beers.
Between the beer and burger selection, it’s an excellent place to stop when you come off the mountain, or after a long day of fishing. It’s the perfect location, right off the Seward Highway!
