If you’re looking for a fun activity to try out this summer, axe throwing is the perfect way to cement your Alaskan reputation. A great indoor way to burn off some calories and energy, this awesome shop is located in Anchorage, Alaska. Mix up your hiking, biking, and camping with a little bit of axe throwing this summer!
If you want to break up your usual summertime activities, put axe throwing on your list.
This venue offers a fantastic way to burn off some steam, or hang out with your friends on a day you would rather stay indoors.
The business is organized into throwing lanes that you can rent to use with your friends.
You can rent by the hour, and they offer discounts for larger blocks of time.
The venue is also available for private rentals.
Have your birthday party here, or start your bachelor party off right. They even have league games and special events like pop-ups they'll post about on their Facebook page.
Although they don't serve food or drink in house, they do arrange for food trucks to swing by.
If you think you'll get hungry while you're testing your mettle, make sure to ask if any food trucks will be available when you're headed in to play. Mochileros Street Food, Mountain Pies, and others have stopped by in the past to feed you when you're hungry.
If you want to try something besides axe throwing, they have an entire array of your favorite childhood games, crafted larger than ever.
You can play life-sized Connect 4, Giant Jenga, corn hole, and hammerschlagen. You won't be bored when you come to this place with all of your friends.
They do have some pretty simple rules to abide by, like never grabbing the axe by the blade, only the handle.
You won't be able to play if you're impaired, and you must wear closed toed shoes. The axe range is only open to be used by ages 14 and up.
They are normally open six days a week, from Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday through Thursdays they are open from 4:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m., and Fridays they are open from 3:00 p.m. all the way to 11:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays they don't open until noon, and Saturdays they close at 11:00 p.m., while Sundays they close early at 8:00 p.m. On Mondays they are open by appointment only.
