In spring, Alaskans are excited to spend more time outside, and there is an excellent reason for you to get out and enjoy all the best weather that May has to offer! Alaska’s Vintage Market and Food Truck Fest is a fun little festival held in Palmer, Alaska. There is something in this great festival for the whole family to enjoy, so don’t be shy about bringing the kids! Spend your day among great vintage finds and excellent eats!
This awesome vintage market is an annual event that's been held for years by Alaska Chicks.
This event has only in recent years added the food trucks to the vendor list. The food trucks have been a huge hit, as the Alaskan food trucks truly deliver some delicious dishes!
The event is held at the Alaska State Fairgrounds, in Palmer, Alaska.
Even though you won't find the carnival rides, there are plenty of booths, and spaces for food trucks and vendors. There's also considerable amounts of parking, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot!

Inside the market you will find a large array of vendors selling a multitude of items.
Expect everything from refinished rocking chairs, to amazing and fun t-shirts. The vintage furniture is usually snapped up quickly, so make sure to keep your eye on anything you love!
You'll stumble over cute little finds like these handmade dolls, from Twitterpated Homemade. There are usually a lot of Alaskan makers selling their wares, and you can browse through some of the creations of the most talented artists in our state!
The booths are all set up so you can easily look through and browse what is on offer.
There are plenty of areas to look through, and many of the Halls in the State Fair area are filled with colorful wares. There are over 100 Alaskan artists selling their work here! You can expect to see everything from true vintage finds, to gloriously up-cycled pieces.
There are over 20 food vendors and food trucks for your snacking pleasure!
This is your chance to visit your favorite food truck, or to sample new ones you haven't tried yet! With so many options you won't have to wait in line too long.
The Alaska Chick's Vintage Home Market and Food Truck Festival is running for three days this year, May 3rd - May 5th.
Friday May 3rd, the festival is open from 5:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m., with a $5.00 admission. Saturday, May 4th, the festival will be open from 9:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. with a $5.00 admission, and Sunday, May 5th will be open from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., and admission is free!
