If you want something indoors there are plenty of museums and centers around the state offering interesting displays for cheap, or better… FREE! The same thing goes for outdoor activities, almost everything you could imagine doing in Alaska is or can be achieved at the appealing price of zero dollars.

A great place for the whole family! There are dinosaur fossils and really great exhibits to keep the kids entertained. Admission is $5 and First Fridays are free!

Take a hike at the Eagle River Nature Center. The Crow Pass National Historic Trail is breathtaking!
