Casea Peterson grew up archery hunting, fishing, and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest. Motivated by her love for the outdoors she moved to Alaska to attend school and to spend time exploring the last frontier. If she doesn’t have a pen in hand or her nose in a book, she can be found out on a lake or up in the woods around a fire with friends.
Alright ladies and gents, it’s Thursday night and it’s time for some throwbacks. Have you ever wondered what Alaska looked like, say, 100 years ago? Well I have. Alaska, just like anywhere else, must have been so different at the start of the twentieth-century.
Yet, we all know Alaska is a special state, a little different from all the rest, so with that in mind I was even more intrigued by the thought of what it looked like back in the day. If you happen to be just as curious as I am, than you’ll enjoy all these old photos of places we still know and love today!
