Located right by the ocean in Homer, Alaska, this iconic restaurant in is a beautiful building that has been around for over 70 years.
The front part of the building was built as the original women's club in 1937. After a stint as many different restaurants through the years, its reclaimed its original glory as an amazing steakhouse, and it has the food to prove it.
They've developed a reputation throughout the state as having some of the best steak available.
In fact, they serve the top 2% of USDA Prime Beef offered in the United States. Serving all of your favorite cuts, you can find New York Strip, Top Sirloin, Filet Mignon, and Ribeye.

All of the steak entrees are served with a side of potatoes and delicious, seasonal vegetables.
You can top any of these beautiful cuts of beef with blue cheese fondue, an onion and mushroom smother, or a tasty peppercorn steak sauce. You can even make any of these dishes a surf n' turf, and add on rockfish, shrimp, scallops, or King Crab!
Including their delicious Alaskan seafood. The wonderful thing about being right on Kachemak Bay is that their seafood ingredients, like their local Halibut Cove Mussels, could not be fresher.

During the summer Hobo Jim sometimes plays a couple of times a week, with two shows a night. For shows like these you have to make reservations because the place gets packed!

Sunday through Thursday they're open from 4:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays you can get a great meal from 4:00 p.m. all the way through 9:00 p.m. And they even offer early bird specials if you get there between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.!
