Fyffe is a small Alabama town that's located on top of Sand Mountain in DeKalb County. In 1989, the town gained national attention because it was the location of numerous UFO sightings. In fact, it's even been nicknamed the "UFO Capital of Alabama."

Today, these sightings are remembered with an annual UFO festival. Of course, any festival with "UFO" in its name sounds a bit wacky, but in this case, it doesn't stand for what you might think. Instead of "Unidentified Flying Object," it stands for "Unforgettable Family Outing." The Fyffe UFO Days Festival began in 2005 and takes place on the last Saturday of August at Fyffe Town Park.

This year's festival is scheduled to take place on August 26th from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. It'll offer everything from food vendors to arts and crafts. There will also be antique cars and tractors, a variety of children's games, and...

There will also be balloon rides, which has become a tradition of the festival.

So, instead of flying saucers, the sky will be full of colorful hot air balloons the day of the event.
