Alabama is home to several unique restaurants. Interestingly, many of them are housed inside buildings that used to be other types of businesses. One restaurant in particular is Vintage Cafe. For information about Vintage Cafe, including what contributes to its uniqueness, take a look below.
Vintage Cafe, which opened in 2018, is located in the Cloverdale neighborhood of Montgomery, Alabama.
This new restaurant is truly unique because it's housed inside a former Regions and First National Bank building that was built in 1955.
In fact, a few of the bank's original features are still visible inside the restaurant, including safety deposit boxes, a metal vault gate, and a working camera in the height chart beside the entrance door.
Vintage Cafe's delicious coffee is one of the main reasons why people visit the restaurant. The brand of coffee served is Stumptown Coffee, which is one of the best roasters in the United States.
A variety of ice and hot teas by Steven Smith Teamaker is also served.
In addition to coffees and teas, Vintage Cafe also offers its customers a variety of food items, including fresh salads,...
...mouthwatering sandwiches, and...
...a wonderful selection of baked goods such as cookies, muffins, danishes, etc.
So, the next time you're taking a drive through Alabama's capital city, be sure to stop by Vintage Cafe and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
