Who doesn’t love a good bargain? Over the years, thrifting has become a popular way to find unique items while saving money. For some people, thrifting has even become a hobby. Listed below is a mapped road trip that’ll take you to some of Alabama’s best thrift shops. Because the driving distance of this road trip is just a little over 200 miles, it can easily be taken in a day. This thrifty road trip begins in Scottsboro and ends in Alexander City. It’s an absolute must-do for anyone looking for the best bargains.

The first stop on your road trip is Liberty Restaurant for breakfast. This restaurant is known around town for serving the most delicious breakfast.
Following breakfast, you'll drive right down the street to the Unclaimed Baggage Center. The Unclaimed Baggage Center resells unclaimed airline luggage, so you never know what you'll find.
After the Unclaimed Baggage Center, you'll take a drive to Fort Payne and visit Big Mill Co.
Artisans & Antiques. Here you'll find a variety of antiques and vintage items.
Once you've worked up an appetite, you'll want to eat lunch at Vintage 1889. This incredible restaurant is located inside the same building as the antique mall.
Your next stop is Lovelady Thrift Store in Centerpoint. From furniture and clothing, to books and toys, this thrift store sells a little bit of everything.
After visiting Lovelady Thrift Store, you'll take a short drive to What's on 2nd? in Birmingham. This unique store sells a variety of antiques and vintage items. Some of them will even remind you of your childhood days.
Following a short drive to Columbiana, you'll visit Earthly Treasures Thrift Store. Like Lovelady Thrift Store in Centerpoint, this thrift store also sells a little bit of everything, including a variety of holiday decor.
Sho'Nuff BBQ in Alexander City is the perfect spot to grab a quick dinner before driving back home. This restaurant is located about an hour from Columbiana, and it serves the best barbecue around.
