Alabama boasts a variety of outdoor attractions that are perfect for a summer visit. One in particular is The Sunflower Field. Even though The Sunflower Field welcomes many visitors each year, there are several people who are still unfamiliar with it. The Sunflower Field is a beautiful outdoor attraction in Autaugaville, Alabama. Each year, it welcomes numerous visitors from near and far.
For those of you unfamiliar with sunflowers, they're annual plants that can sometimes grow as tall as 14 feet, or as short as 1 foot. It depends on the variety.
Once the sunflowers are in full bloom, you'll only have about 9-11 days to enjoy them. They'll then start wilting.
The Sunflower Field is scheduled to open on July 1, 2021. Admission is free of charge. However, you'll be able to purchase sunflowers by the stem for $1 each, or...
...buckets of sunflowers for $10.
A variety of other things will also be available for purchase, including drinks, snacks, sunflower-themed items, and tee shirts.
