Collinsville Trade Day is located in the small town of Collinsville, Alabama. It's one of the South's largest outdoor markets.
When this outdoor market originally began in 1902, men would bring their horses and mules every Saturday to trade and sell. It was originally known as Horse Swappers Day. Eventually, the men's wives started participating by selling their handmade crafts and baked goods.
