Rickwood Caverns State Park covers 380 acres and is located in Warrior, Alabama.
This massive (and colorful) cave features 260-million-year-old limestone formations that were created by water and carved from an ocean bed. Parts of the cave are still growing.

The cave also contains blind cave fish and an underground pool, which maintains a 58-62 degree temperature.
Rickwood Caverns State Park offers a guided cave tour, which takes place on Wednesdays through Sundays at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Rates: $17.00 (age 13 to adult) and $8.00 (age 5 to 12)
