1. U.S. Space & Rocket Center
With more than 1,500 pieces, Huntsville's U.S. Space & Rocket Center has one of the most extensive collections of space artifacts and displays. These displays include rockets, engines, spacecraft, simulators and hands-on exhibits. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is also home to Space Camp.
2. Vulcan
Vulcan is the world’s largest cast iron statue, which is comprised of 100,000 pounds of iron and is 56 feet tall. It overlooks the beautiful city of Birmingham.
3. Alabama's Gulf Coast

4. Helen Keller
Born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, Helen Keller will always be known as "The First Lady of Courage."
5. Edmund Pettus Bridge
The Edmund Pettus Bridge is located in Selma, Alabama and was the site for the "Bloody Sunday" voting rights march on March 7, 1965.
6. I-65
Alabamians know I-65 all too well. If you want to visit any of Alabama's major cities, chances are you'll have to take this interstate. Interstate 65 links six of Alabama's ten largest cities.
7. Alabama Theatre
The historic Alabama Theatre, located in Birmingham, was built in 1927 by Paramount Studios. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
8. Collegiate Logos
If you're an Alabama or Auburn football fan, chances are you own something with the team's logo on it. These logos are very recognizable and even those who aren't football fans are familiar with them.

11. Noccalula Falls
Located in Gadsden, Alabama, Noccalula Falls is a magnificent waterfall atop Lookout Mountain and is one of the state's top tourist spots.
12. USS Alabama Battleship
The USS Alabama Battleship was the sixth ship of the U.S. Navy. It's located in Mobile, Alabama at Battleship Memorial Park.
13. Boll Weevil Monument
Located in Enterprise, Alabama, the Boll Weevil Monument was erected in 1919 and is the world's first monument built to honor an agricultural pest.
