Neversink Pit, which is now known as Neversink Preserve, is a limestone sinkhole that's located off the beaten path in Jackson County, Alabama near Fackler. It's one of the most photographed sinkholes in the world.
Once inside Neversink Preserve, you can't help but notice the fern-covered ledges surrounding you. Another feature you'll quickly notice is the group of streaming waterfalls. These rare underground waterfalls are truly magnificent, especially when they're flowing strong.
