Alabama is well known for its incredible hiking trails. From short and long, to easy and hard, there’s such a variety of trails for all skill levels. There are even plenty of trails that are great for bringing kids along, including the one that leads to Kinlock Falls. For information about this trail, which is said to be kid-friendly, take a look below.
Kinlock Falls is a beautiful waterfall that's nestled inside of North Alabama's William B. Bankhead National Forest.
To reach this waterfall, you'll simply follow a 0.3-mile loop trail, which runs along Hubbard Creek. If you're going north on Kinlock Road, right before you reach the bridge that spans Hubbard Creek, you'll simply pull off on the side of the road to park. From there you'll follow some steps down to the trail.
Kinlock Falls might not be as well known as many other Alabama waterfalls, but it's still worth discovering. Anyone who's ever hiked to it will likely agree.
In addition to Kinlock Falls, you can experience another waterfall by following the trail downstream just a little bit further. It's also a sight to see!
