Palisades Park, which covers approximately 100 acres, is one of Blount County's best-kept secrets. It's located at the foothills of the Southern Appalachians and has been welcoming visitors since 1973.
Situated atop Ebell Mountain, Palisades Park is quite popular among rock climbers, nature lovers and sightseers. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves the outdoors.
There's no denying that Palisades Park offers the most incredible view, which can be seen for miles.
There's even a special building where you can meditate while enjoying your view.
Throughout Palisades Park, you'll encounter several historic buildings that have been beautifully restored, including a rustic barn and...
...a schoolhouse that was originally built in 1904.
There's also a charming covered bridge on the property.
