There's Nothing Better Than Alabama's Natural Lazy River On A Summer's Day

Tubing down one of Alabama’s beautiful rivers is a great way to relax and beat the summer heat.
Alabama is home to numerous rivers, and one of the best natural lazy rivers for tubing is the Styx River, which is located in Southeast Alabama. If you ever have the opportunity to tube down the Styx River this summer, take it. It’s one of Alabama’s true gems, and it’ll most certainly become one of your favorite summer destinations.
Styx River Tube and Canoe Rental offers a floating adventure like no other. While floating down the Styx River, you can go as slow or as fast as you like.
Styx River Tube and Canoe Rental is located in Robertsdale, Alabama at 26091 Waterworld Road.
The beautiful Styx River is located in eastern Baldwin County and stretches for 41.3 miles. It offers several spots for swimming, fishing and picnicking.
As always, be sure to bring along a trash bag. The minimum fine in Alabama for littering on public waterways is $500.00. Also, glass and Styrofoam are not allowed on the Styx River.
Besides tubing, Styx River Tube and Canoe Rental also offers canoeing and kayaking.
Whichever activity you choose to do, you'll get to see lots of beautiful scenery while floating down the Styx River.
All floating trips begin and end at the Styx River Tube & Canoe Rental property.
The rate for a tubing trip, which is 4 miles long, costs $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 10 years of age and under. A short canoe trip, which is also four miles long, costs $50.00 per canoe. Cooler tubes are $10.00. Kayak trips, also four miles long, cost $30 per kayak.
The Styx River is the perfect summer destination for all ages.
Styx River Tube and Canoe Rental is currently open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
