Alabama boasts many types of restaurants, including several with a unique theme. One of the state’s most unique themed restaurants, especially when it comes to music, is Fizz. To learn about this music-themed restaurant, take a look below.
Fizz is a restaurant, bar, and live music room that's located inside the Clarion Inn Sheffield-Muscle Shoals, which isn't too far from the iconic Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and FAME Studios.
Visitors of Fizz will be transported back to the 1970s because of the restaurant's funky decor, which includes bright colors and pop art portraits of a few musical artists that recorded in the Shoals area during that era. These recording artists include Bob Dylan, Cher, Percy Sledge, and many, many more.
Fizz even offers a variety of Southern favorites, including ribs, grits, fried catfish, and more. You'll also notice that the names of the dishes on the menu are all music inspired, including "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Song of the Shrimp," etc.
In addition to food, Fizz also offers a great selection of cocktails. These also have music-inspired names such as "Mustang Sally," "Old Time Rock and Roll," "It Hurts So Good," and more.
So, the next time you're in Sheffield, consider giving Fizz a try. It's a great dining destination for the entire family (there's even a kids' menu), and you won't be disappointed!
