Alabama has definitely experienced its fair share of hauntings. One of Alabama’s most haunted places is the city of Albertville’s Main Street. Supposedly, this stretch of road has been haunted for the past 100+ years. This tornado is believed to have killed 35 people across the northeastern area of Alabama, including 15 Albertville residents. More than 150 homes were also destroyed. This historic tornado is commonly referred to as "The Great Cyclone of 1908."

On many occasions, the apparitions of children have been seen playing in the street during the late night hours. Also, several business owners have reported feeling a sudden coldness when they would go outside during the summer months. They’ve also heard people screaming during the night, but when they would run outside to see where the screams were coming from, nobody would be there. Main Street would be completely empty.
