Cheaha Mountain, which is home to Cheaha State Park in Delta, Alabama, is covered by the Talladega National Forest. With an elevation of 2,407 feet above sea level, it's also the state's highest natural point. Without a doubt, Cheaha Mountain offers some of Alabama's most incredible views.

Lookout Mountain is a ridge that spans three states: Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. Here in Alabama, it's located in the northeastern corner and offers great views of Little River Canyon and Little River Falls. The charming town of Mentone (pictured) is also located atop of Lookout Mountain.

Red Mountain is a ridge that's located in Birmingham, Alabama and offers a great view of the city's skyline. It's also home to Red Mountain Park and Vulcan, the largest cast-iron statue in the world.

Double Oak Mountain is a long sandstone ridge that's located just south of Birmingham, Alabama. The southeastern section of the mountain is home to Oak Mountain State Park, which just so happens to be Alabama's largest state park.

Ruffner Mountain is a scenic nature preserve in Birmingham, Alabama that covers more than 1,000 acres. It's also home to a former limestone quarry that was once used for mining purposes. Ruffner Mountain offers 15 trails, some of which lead to pretty fantastic views of the city.

Monte Sano Mountain, which has an elevation of about 1,621 feet above sea level, is home to Madison County's Monte Sano State Park and Monte Sano Nature Preserve. While hiking this mountain, you'll experience several breathtaking views.
