Hurricane Creek Park, which covers approximately 70 acres, is located within the foothills of the Appalachians in Vinemont, Alabama.
Like its name suggests, this little-known park's main feature is Hurricane Creek. Hurricane Creek is a tributary of the Black Warrior River and is more than 30 miles long.
When it comes to outdoor recreation, Hurricane Creek Park's hiking opportunities don't disappoint. The park offers more than four miles of trails that are appropriate for most skill levels.
While hiking through Hurricane Creek Park, you'll encounter several bridge crossings, including...

You'll also encounter several beautiful waterfalls.
In fact, many of these waterfalls flow from some of the park's most unique rock formations.
