Red's Little School House Restaurant is located off the beaten path in Grady, Alabama. After being in business for more than 30 years, this restaurant has become a local favorite.
It's open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays. Red's Little School House Restaurant is a great dining spot for the entire family.
This small-town restaurant is housed inside of a former one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1910. After the school closed in 1960, the schoolhouse was left abandoned for many years.
In 1985, Red Deese purchased the former schoolhouse and turned it into the charming restaurant it is today.
Red's Little School House Restaurant specializes in country cooking and is best known for its amazing lunch and dinner buffet, which includes a variety of Southern favorites such as fresh vegetables, pulled pork and fried chicken.
Besides the buffet, Red's Little School House Restaurant also offers a regular menu, which includes sandwiches, steaks, grilled shrimp and so much more.
