1. St. Elizabeth Catholic Church - Greenville
Established in 1904, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church is a stunning Spanish Revival-style church that's part of Greenville's East Commerce Street Historic District. During the time this church was built, it was one of the most expensive churches in Alabama. The total cost of the church was $10,000, which was a lot of money back then. 2. First Baptist Church - Montgomery
The First Baptist Church of Montgomery was founded in 1829. The building's construction began in 1905 and was completed in 1923. This beautiful stone church is part of the Perry Street Historic District. (305 S Perry St)
3. Shoal Creek Church - Edwardsville
Built in 1895, Shoal Creek Church is one of Alabama's last remaining log churches. It's located within the Talladega National Forest, along the Pinhoti Trail. Each Labor Day, the annual Sacred Harp singing event takes place at Shoal Creek Church and attracts visitors from near and far.
4. Robinson Springs United Methodist Church - Millbrook

5. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church - Prairieville
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is a Carpenter Gothic-style church that was built in 1853 by a group of slaves. This quaint church was declared a National Historic Landmark and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on the exact same day, which was November 7, 1973. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is located 8 miles east of Demopolis, Alabama on U.S. Route 80.
6. Cathedral Church of the Advent - Birmingham
The Cathedral Church of the Advent was one of Birmingham's first churches. This Gothic-style church was originally built in 1873, but was unfortunately destroyed by a fire. The current church was built in 1883, and it became a true cathedral in 1982. (2017 6th Ave N)

The Lowndesboro Presbyterian Church was founded in 1816 and built in 1850. This charming church is located within the Lowndesboro Historic District, which covers approximately 1,800 acres.

Fort Deposit's United Methodist Church was constructed prior to the Civil War. However, it eventually burned down. The current building was constructed in 1899. You're probably wondering why there are two entrances. One was for men and the other was for women. (110 Milner St)
