Historic Blakeley State Park is located on Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast in Spanish Fort. Covering more than 2,100 acres, this scenic park is a must-visit for all ages.
The site of the Civil War's last major battle is located on the park's grounds. In fact, this historic park, which was established in 1976, is part of the Civil War Discovery Trail because it was the site of the Battle of Fort Blakeley. Civil War reenactments are one of Historic Blakeley State Park's popular features.
Another popular feature of this historic park is its ancient oak tree. Over the years, this unique tree has become a park landmark.

The captain of the park's Delta Explorer will take you on an unforgettable tour of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. While on this excursion, you'll discover a variety of wetland habitats that are home to alligators, black bears, ospreys, and so much more.
