One of these hidden waterfalls is Sougahoagdee Falls, which is tucked away inside North Alabama’s William B. Bankhead National Forest. To reach Sougahoagdee Falls, you'll follow the Sougahoagdee Falls Trail, which is a 4-mile, out-and-back trail with an easy level of difficulty.
You'll want to begin your hike from Brushy Creek Bridge on Hickory Grove Road. Once you get to this bridge, you'll simply follow the creek upstream. It's that simple!
Keep in mind that you'll have to cross the creek a few times and traverse some rough terrain during your journey, but overall, the hike is easy to tackle.
While hiking the Sougahoagdee Falls Trail, you'll be surrounded by lots of beautiful natural scenery. And after reaching the waterfall, you'll be in complete awe of it. After all, there's a reason why it's considered one of Alabama's most beautiful hidden waterfalls.
