It’s no secret that Alabama is such a great place for hiking. In fact, some of the nation’s best trails are located right here in the Yellowhammer State. What makes our trails extra special is the amount of beautiful natural scenery. One of Alabama’s most scenic trails is the Cutchenmine Trail, which you can learn all about below.
The Cutchenmine Trail is located within Lake Guntersville State Park near Guntersville, Alabama.
The Cutchenmine Trail follows an old coal mine road along Short Creek. Even though there are a few minor inclines along the way, this trail, which has an easy level of difficulty, is a great hiking destination for the entire family.
To find out what else Lake Guntersville State Park offers, you can take a look at the Alabama State Parks website.
