Orr Park, which covers 40 acres, is located in the city of Montevallo and is one of the South's most unique parks.
Situated along Shoal Creek, Orr Park looks like a traditional park. However, it offers so much more.
What makes Orr Park truly stand out among Alabama's other parks is its famous Tinglewood Trail.
Instead of allowing several storm-damaged cedar trees to die, local artist Tim Tingle carved them into unique works of art. These works of art, which make up the Tinglewood Trail, include whimsical faces, animals and storybook characters.
Since 1993, the Tinglewood Trail, which features more than 30 sculptures, has been fascinating people from all over the Southeast and beyond. You'll feel like you've walked into a fairy tale the moment you take a stroll along this one-of-a-kind trail.
