Fairhope hosts several events throughout the year, and one of its most popular ones during the holiday season is the Fairhope Tree Lighting Celebration. This year's event will take place on Thursday, November 19th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., streets will close on Section Street from Magnolia Avenue to Johnson Avenue, and on Fairhope Avenue from Church Street to Bancroft Street. This area will only be open to pedestrian traffic.

All attendees will be required to wear a mask and socially distance themselves from anyone outside of their family.
Activities during this year's event will include letters to Santa via take-home kits, live holiday music, and photo opportunities with Mrs. Claus.

Keep in mind, in order to practice social distancing, event attendees won't be able to be in close contact with Mrs. Claus.
