When it comes to hiking, Alabama is home to some of the best trails in the nation. Most are surrounded by lots a beautiful scenery, and some will even lead you to beautiful waterfalls and/or swimming holes. One trail in particular where you’ll experience a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole is the Chinnabee Silent Trail, which you can learn about below.
The Chinnabee Silent Trail, which has an easy rating, is located within the Talladega National Forest in Lineville, Alabama. To access it, you'll simply park in the Chinnabee Silent Trail Parking Lot on AL-281.

After crossing the road, you'll arrive at the trailhead. From there, you'll hike along very flat terrain to Cheaha Falls, a beautiful double waterfall.
Because of its easy rating, the Chinnabee Silent Trail is great for hikers of all skill levels. Dogs are also allowed on this scenic trail, so be sure to bring your canine companion(s) along for the adventure. Just remember to keep them leashed.
Even though Cheaha Falls is one of Alabama's lesser-known waterfalls, it's still one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Talladega National Forest.
At the base of Cheaha Falls is a small swimming hole, which attracts swimmers of all ages. A dip in this swimming hole is an absolute must, especially on a hot and/or humid day.
