During your museum visit, you'll have the opportunity to get close to nature through several interactive exhibits. One of the museum's most popular exhibits is the "Forests" exhibit. While at this exhibit, you can explore the "Curiosity Cabin," climb "Big Tree," and so much more.
While at the museum, you can also explore a cave that's been recreated to resemble some of Alabama's caves. You can even climb through the walls of the cave to look for animals.
If you love the ocean and you're a fan of marine life, you'll most certainly enjoy the museum's 15,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. It features a variety of saltwater fish and corals of different colors and sizes.
The Cook Museum of Natural Science also features a "Rivers & Streams" exhibit, which includes a 600-gallon freshwater aquarium and various animal displays.
