Christmastime in Alabama doesn’t disappoint! During this special time of year, there are many types of festive events taking place. Several of these events are Christmas light displays. To experience some of the best Christmas lights in Alabama, you’ll want to check out this year’s Galaxy of Lights, which you can learn all about below.
Alabama's Galaxy of Lights is an annual Christmas lights display at Huntsville Botanical Garden that's been taking place for more than 25 years.
What makes this lights display truly unique is the fact that it offers both walking and driving nights. The walking nights recently began and will continue through November 27th. They'll pick back up on December 17th and continue through January 1st. On Monday and Tuesday nights, dogs are allowed.
Note: On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, Galaxy of Lights is closed.

Driving nights will begin on December 1st and will continue through December 16th. On these particular nights, you'll get to drive along a trail that's more than two miles long and boasts millions of festive lights and a variety of whimsical light displays.
