Numerous places are located throughout Alabama that are perfect for calling home. In fact, Livability.com recently included the cities of Auburn and Huntsville on its 2020 version of the “Top 100 Best Places to Live in America.” To learn a little about these two cities, take a look below.
Auburn, which comes in at No. 88, is a historic college town that's located in Lee County, Alabama. It's nicknamed "The Loveliest Village on the Plains."
One of Auburn's main attractions is of course Jordan-Hare Stadium. People come from all across the nation to watch the Auburn Tigers play football here.
When it comes to food, Auburn offers many restaurant options, including Acre. Acre is a farm-to-table restaurant that serves up some of Alabama's most delicious cuisine.
Huntsville offers a variety of attractions, including the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, which is often referred to as "Earth's Largest Space Museum." It's also home to Space Camp, which welcomes attendees from all over the world.
Another popular attraction in Huntsville is Big Spring International Park. Several events are held here throughout the year, and it's also one of Alabama's most beautiful city parks.
Huntsville Botanical Garden is another city attraction that welcomes numerous visitors year-round. One of the garden's main features is its Purdy Butterfly House, which happens to be the nation's largest open-air butterfly house.
