Since opening for business in 1971, this sub shop, which was founded by Glenn Watson, has welcomed numerous customers from all across the North Alabama region and beyond.
All of the subs at Stanlieo's Sub Villa include tomatoes, onion cubes, dill pickle cubes, salt, pepper, oregano, and oil. Extra meat can be added for a small fee. The bread is baked fresh daily, and both white and wheat breads are available.
The restaurant's most popular sub is The Kitchen Sink. This sub includes seven types of meat, three types of cheeses, and a generous serving of onions, pickles, and tomatoes. For something a little extra, consider adding a cup of the restaurant's special crushed pepper blend. You'll love it! The Kitchen Sink can be served hot or cold.
If you're a fan of steak, you'll want to try the Steak Bomb. This sub includes a generous serving of grilled steak, melted provolone cheese, Genoa salami, grilled onions, bell peppers, and pizza sauce.
You can't go wrong with the Pizza Sub at Stanlieo's Sub Villa. This specialty sub includes grilled steak, pepperoni, ham, Genoa salami, melted Swiss and provolone cheeses, grilled onions, bell peppers, and pizza sauce.
For those of you who are vegetarians, you're in luck because Stanlieo's Sub Villa also offers a variety of vegetable subs. One of the restaurant's most popular vegetarian subs is the Vegetarian Medley, which includes generous portions of grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and melted cheese.
There's no denying that the subs at Stanlieo's Sub Villa are delicious enough to stand on their own. However, you can always order the Side Order Sampler to enjoy alongside it. This includes three different sides (appetizers) with three different sauces. Potato chips are also available.
