Aldridge Gardens, which covers approximately 30 acres, is a beautiful botanical garden that's located in Hoover, Alabama.
Since opening to the public in 2002, this beautiful garden has welcomed numerous visitors from near and far. In fact, an average of 85,000 to 90,000 people visit each year.
Like all botanical gardens, Alabama's Aldridge Gardens features a variety of flowers, including gorgeous hydrangeas. One of these hydrangeas is the Snowflake Hydrangea, which was discovered by Mr. Aldridge and his father in 1969. The Snowflake Hydrangea is now considered Hoover's official flower.
