With our long and miserably hot summers, the more aquatic activities we have available to us, the better! The following 12 water-related activities will definitely help you beat the heat this upcoming Alabama summer.
1. Spend a day boating on one of Alabama's beautiful lakes.
2. Go tubing down Little Cahaba River.
3. Slide down the 1,000-foot slip and slide that's coming to Mobile on June 27, 2015.
4. Take a beach vacation to Gulf Shores.
5. Go whitewater rafting down the Chattahoochee River, in Phenix City.
6. Spend a day fishing along the banks of the Tennessee River.
