Have you ever wondered what it would be like to look out over a seemingly endless sunflower field? Well the real thing is just as magical as you imagined. At Buttonwood Farm there are acres of sunflowers, attracting visitors from miles away. You’ll want to see this place in person and snag some incredible photos before they disappear for the year. Get a sneak peak below and start planning your sunflower field trip.
This sunflower field is positively enchanting. This sight has happened every summer for fourteen years, though it used to be a single acre.
You can even take one (or a dozen) of these beauties home with you. The flowers will be on sale from July 22 to July 30, with all of the proceeds going to the Make A Wish Foundation.
And to top it all off, Buttonwood Farm is also home to 40 flavors of farm fresh ice cream. This is one summer day trip the whole family can enjoy, from the views to dessert. It's an afternoon you'll never forget!
Buttonwood Farm is located at 473 Shetucket Turnpike, Griswold, CT 06351. While there won’t be an epic sunflower field, you’ll find more delicious ice cream spots on the Connecticut Ice Cream Trail.
