A Ride Down This Awesome Waterslide In Colorado Is All You Need For Summer
Summertime is officially on the horizon (unless you are like me and consider Memorial Day to be the kickoff to the season), which means it is time to begin creating your Colorado summer bucket list! If you are looking for suggestions, we recommend taking a ride down this awesome waterslide that you may not even know exists:
Located near the Pike and San Isabel National Forests lies the beautiful town of Nathrop and the must-visit Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort; a “gorgeous natural oasis surrounded by towering peaks.” From luxurious accommodations to a variety of delectable bars and restaurants all the way to relaxing mineral tubs, there is no shortage of things to see and do at this Colorado resort! While we love nearly aspect of Mount Princeton, our favorite part of all would have to be the 400-foot-long waterslide, which takes guests on a fun ride through the lush countryside before dropping off into a comfortable 75-degree pool. Unlike other Colorado waterparks, the lines at Mount Princeton are minimal, making for even more fun in the sun! (Mats for the water slide are provided.)
The Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort is located at 15870 Co Rd 162 in Nathrop. Admission to the pools are included with every stay and special day pass rates for the general public begin at $20 for adults 16 and older. For more information — or to book your stay — please visit Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort website.
