If you want to see the Green Mountain State’s very highest peak, Mount Mansfield, take the 4.2-mile out-and-back trail to Mount Hunger. This one is a bit challenging as Mount Hunger sits at 3,538 feet, but it’s definitely worth it once you get those all-encompassing views. Oh, and there are also some waterfalls and even a swimming hole to jump into along the way!
