Now that summer’s in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about some camping trips. Indiana has plenty of great camping spots, but here’s one that’s particularly pretty. Check it out!
The Hardin Ridge Recreation area encompasses 1,200 acres in the Hoosier National Forest.
During the summer season, you can attend an interpretive program with a park ranger at the amphitheater. Call 812-275-5987 for information regarding presentation schedules.
Non-electric campsites cost $20 per night; those with electricity are $30 per night. Reservations aren't required, but may be made in advance at the Forest Service's website.
