If you’ve been in Maine a long time, you know that we have some pretty specific seasons. As a warm-weather lover I might be biased, but I think spring and summer just might be the best. (Note to Maine’s mother nature: I can do without mud season). But, with warmer months in Maine comes the inevitable tourists and visitors. While many complain and say that they clog up our restaurants and make traffic unbearable, we have a different take on it.
Without these yearly summer visitors, these seasonal restaurants might NEVER be open. So, we’ll take the good with the bad. And while we’re at it, we’ll be heading straight for these spots that are only open in the season. Get there while you can or risk having to wait an entire year!
