Plus, it’s a great way to spend time with family or friends. So, next time you want to get some fresh air, and some fresh food, check out one of these 10 pick-your-own produce farms in Iowa!
Center Grove Orchard offers pick-your-own apples in many delicious varieties, and you can spend a fun day on the farm with the family while enjoying many activities, such as: a corn maze, hayride, bouncing pillows, pedal carts, farm animals, and much more. When you're done gathering you're apples, check out their shop and try some of their delicious apple doughnuts, apple butter, and apple salsa.

Bloomsbury Farm is a great place to take the family to pick your own pumpkin, and spend some time outdoors doing fun things like zip lining, riding a hayride, walking through a corn maze, shooting a pumpkin cannon, and more.
Berry Patch offers a wide variety of pick-your-own berries and apples, with certain apple and red raspberry varieties in season through September and into October. Most of their berries are in season during June, so this is a great place to keep in mind for next summer.
Heartland Farms in Waterloo offers pick-your-own strawberries, asparagus, and pumpkins. Though asparagus is in season from April to May, and Strawberries in June, you can still head to Heartland in September and October to pick your own pumpkin, and check out their haunted barn, corn maze, and other activities.
