10 Amazing Places In Missouri That Are A Photo-Taking Paradise

Zoos are a great place to catch pictures of a large variety of animals. This shot was taken at the Kansas City Zoo, but Missouri has several zoos and animal habitats including Animal Paradise and Dickerson Park Zoo in the Springfield area, the St. Louis Zoo and Grant’s Farm in St. Louis, Lazy L Safari Park in Cape Girardeau, and the Promised Land Animal Park in Eagle Rock.

Gardens by design are made to be pleasing to the eye and celebrate the beauty of nature. This photo, taken at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, is an excellent example. Check out more garden shots here.

Katy Trail is the country’s longest Rails to Trails trail at 240 miles, created from unused train rails being converted into a multi-use trail for biking, hiking, and sometimes horse-riding. 240 miles through nature is an endless supply of great photo-ops.
